OEM Water Pump Inverter Manufacturer with Custom Parameters and Branding

An OEM water pump inverter project should treat custom parameters and branding as controlled product specifications. The buyer must define the motor, power supply, pump duty, control sequence and installation before default settings are approved. Logos, labels and packaging can support a private brand, but they do not replace technical validation of the drive and pump package.
What Information Is Required?
Provide two linked sets of requirements.
Technical information:
- Motor nameplate voltage, current, power, frequency, speed and motor type.
- Input voltage, phase, frequency and expected power-quality conditions.
- Pump type, flow, head, pressure target, pump count and operating sequence.
- Sensor signal, terminal functions, communication and protection requirements.
- Mounting, enclosure, ambient temperature, altitude and motor-cable length.
OEM information:
- Brand name, logo artwork, model-code rules and label language.
- Packaging, manual, keypad display and accessory requirements.
- Default parameter table and which settings an installer may change.
- Sample quantity, acceptance tests, forecast volume and revision approval contacts.
- Destination-market statements or certifications that require evidence.
Keep technical customization separate from cosmetic customization. A label change may be simple; a new input voltage, enclosure or motor-control function may require engineering and testing.
Selection Example
A pump OEM requests a branded inverter for a 4 kW, 380 V, 8.5 A constant-pressure centrifugal pump. The proposed drive must first meet the required output current under the expected temperature and altitude. The OEM then defines the pressure-sensor type, target units, acceleration, deceleration, minimum speed, sleep and wake behavior, and responses to sensor loss or low water.
After the technical sample passes, the parties approve the label, model code, packaging and manual. The signed parameter baseline and artwork revision are linked to the OEM model. A future change to the motor supplier, sensor or firmware triggers a defined review instead of an informal factory-floor adjustment.
OEM Project Controls
Parameter Baseline
Record every non-default setting, its purpose, allowed range and validation result. Store a recoverable copy for production, service and replacement units.
Branding Accuracy
The private label should show only confirmed ratings and claims. Voltage, current, protection level and certification marks must match the exact supplied configuration.
Sample Approval
Test the real motor, pump, sensor and control sequence where practical. Include normal operation and important faults rather than approving the sample from appearance alone.
Revision Management
Identify which changes require buyer notification and reapproval. Controlled revisions protect repeat orders from undocumented differences.
Common Mistakes
- Finalizing branded packaging before technical selection is complete.
- Copying one parameter set across different motor currents or pump duties.
- Asking for a special voltage without confirming the actual input and motor output needs.
- Allowing label claims that are not supported by the exact model documentation.
- Ordering volume before approving a representative functional sample.
AUSENIST Solution
AUSENIST can review YS620 and YS820 options for OEM water-pump packages and help define current rating, motor type, pressure control, multi-pump functions, parameter defaults, labeling and documentation. Special voltage, pump-mounted integration and nonstandard functions are subject to engineering confirmation and validation.
Customization is not unlimited. AUSENIST should decline or re-scope requests outside confirmed electrical, environmental or control capability, and it cannot replace the OEM's responsibility for complete machine safety and destination-market compliance. The most reliable program starts with a controlled sample, approved data and clear change rules.
Send us your motor nameplate. We can recommend the VFD model and basic parameter configuration.
