Chemical Mixing Solution

I. Chemical Mixing Equipment Process

Chemical mixing employs high-speed agitators, such as disc sawtooth-type agitators, to generate strong turbulence locally, typically achieving a strong dispersion and emulsification effect on materials. The main types of products produced include coatings, dyes, inks, pigments, cosmetics, resins, adhesives, emulsions, pharmaceuticals, petroleum, and other liquid and liquid-powder materials in various fields. The speed can be adjusted arbitrarily through the frequency converter for high-speed stirring, dissolution, and dispersion.

  1. Homogeneous Liquid Mixing: Homogeneous mixing and blending of mutually soluble liquids in the mixing vessel. The aim is to achieve molecular-scale uniformity through agitation, such as acid preparation and petroleum product mixing.

  2. Heterogeneous Liquid Mixing: Mixing and blending two immiscible liquids in the mixing vessel. Agitating with an agitator allows one phase to be dispersed into small droplets and uniformly dispersed into the other liquid phase. This is common in fine chemical pharmaceuticals and the food industry, where emulsification processes are encountered. Stirring with an agitator can disperse the first liquid phase into the second liquid phase in the form of extremely small droplets, forming a stable stirred mixture. For example, in the solvent extraction process, stirring is used to increase the interface between the two liquid phases for mass transfer.

  3. Solid-Liquid Mixing: Suspending solid particles in a liquid in the mixing vessel. In the liquid-phase reaction where the solid is used as a catalyst, stirring with an agitator can prevent solid settling, providing the solid-liquid mass transfer environment required for stirring and mixing reactions.

II. Wiring Diagram:

This diagram represents the frequency conversion wiring schematic for chemical mixing equipment. Therefore, the equipment requires external speed control, external start-up, external monitoring of equipment usage current, and external speed observation.

III. Parameters and On-Site Images for Chemical Mixing Equipment:

Parameters for Eckert inverter settings:

  • F0.02 set to 1 (External start)

  • F0.03 set to 2 (External potentiometer AI1 speed control)

  • F0.17, F0.18 are set for acceleration and deceleration time, respectively

  • F3.07 set to 13 (Motor speed)

  • F3.08 set to 2 (Output current)

  • F8.04 set to 07 (Corresponding to line speed)

  • F8.06 set to 0.3 (Load speed coefficient)

  • F8.12 set to 0 (No decimal point)

The selection should generally be configured on a one-to-one basis.

IV. Equipment Usage Precautions:

For such equipment, attention should be paid to the on-site environment. Regular dust cleaning is necessary, and open flames must be avoided. Periodically check the vulnerable parts of the chemical agitator, such as bearings, oil seals, etc., and replace them immediately if wear is detected. Lubricate gears, bearings, ball bearings, shafts and bushings, and cylinders once a week. In case of overheating or abnormal noise during use, prompt inspection is required.
