I. Industry Overview

1.Introduction of Plastic grinding  machine

 

Plastic grinding machine is widely used in chemical industry, waste recycling, plastic pipe profile manufacturing, plastic modification and other

fields of various plastic materials grinding processing. According to the classification of grinding principle, the mill is mainly divided into two

categories: rotor (turbine) mill and grinding disc mill, according to the grinding method is divided into normal temperature mill and deep cooling

mill, usually we commonly for the normal temperature mill, also known as mechanical grinding.




2., The working principle and control mode analysis

 

 The basic principle of the plastic mill is driven by the spindle equipped with precision bearings, driven by the knife, the dynamic knife high-speed

rotation, and the fixed knife cut, so that the material into the strong collision, grinding and powder, through the wind, water cooling together,

effectively control the material crushing temperature, to ensure that the quality of crushed materials will not change.






Most traditional plastic mills have the following disadvantages of their own.


◆High industrial frequency starting current, high impact on the power grid, high motor bearing wear and tear, and high equipment maintenance.


◆The working conditions are poor and noisy.


◆Low degree of automation, unable to adjust the speed, fluctuating, unstable and low precision.


The advantages of the system after frequency conversion are as follows.


◆The motor speed of the mill can be adjusted freely according to the process requirements, improving the efficiency and saving unnecessary

power consumption


◆Ensure that the mechanical load is evenly added or subtracted, so that the machinery is in a relatively gentle load change, to prevent the motor,

work device action of large ups and downs, to extend the service life.


◆With good over-current protection function, such as equipment jamming or equipment lack of lubricating oil resulting in excessive load on the

motor, as long as the inverter protection action current value is set properly, it can protect the motor very well and prevent it from overload burnout.


◆It can improve the power factor and energy saving, which is not obvious for small motors, and the effect is more obvious if it is a big motor.


◆Torque compensation and lifting function are more suitable for constant torque load.

Commissioning process description



After the peripheral devices are connected and checked for errors, first conduct the no-load power-on experiment to familiarize with

the protection code when the inverter runs with faults, familiarize with the key operation and modify the required parameters according

to the manual operation method.


Run with load: set the inverter to keyboard operation mode, press the run key and stop key, observe whether the motor can start and

stop normally and whether the keyboard display is normal.


◆If the motor cannot start, try to carry out the motor self-learning function.


◆If the inverter has over-current protection action, reset the acceleration and deceleration time.


◆If it is still protected within the limited time, the operation curve of start-stop should be changed.


◆If the inverter is still faulted, try to increase the current protection value, but it should not be cancelled, and should leave at least 10%-20% protection margin.


◆If the fault still occurs, you should consider replacing the inverter with a large level of power.


If the belt motor cannot reach the preset speed, consider two situations.


(1) The system occurs electromechanical resonance, which can be judged from the motor running sound. Using the method of setting the

frequency jump value can avoid the resonance point.


(2) The motor torque output capacity is not enough, you can manually increase the amount of torque boost, do not set too large, or you can

use a new control method and change to vector control without speed sensor to have a larger torque output.

Related notes


◆Make sure the power is completely cut off for 10 minutes before opening the inverter face cover.


◆Verify that the voltage value between the main circuit terminals P+ and P- is below 36VDC before carrying out internal wiring operations.


◆Verify that the rated input voltage of the inverter is consistent with the voltage
